Dr. Aleksey Shkurat, also known as Dr. Alex, is dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-centered eye care. Born in Ukraine and raised in the United States from a young age, he brings a diverse perspective and genuine understanding to every patient interaction.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Western Washington University and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon.
With over twelve years of experience, Dr. Shkurat combines clinical expertise with a compassionate, personalized approach. He believes that great eye care goes beyond prescriptions—it’s about making patients feel heard, comfortable, and confident. Known for his thorough exams and approachable style, he adds just the right touch of humor to create a relaxed and positive experience.
